About FoSI

The Future of Sport Institute (FoSI) is a unique hub bringing together academics, students, industry leaders, and brands to shape the future of sport and society, more broadly. We are dedicated to empowering sport industry stakeholders’ ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-changing technological world through innovative research, education, collaborations, and community partnerships.

As the sport industry confronts the challenges of rapid technological shifts and disruption, it needs the tools to navigate and capitalize on these changes. FoSI will empower the sports tech sector to innovate and excel both now and in the years to come.

How We Work

  • Insights – We conduct and disseminate rigorous, high-impact research that has the capacity to both enhance the existing literature and provide leaders with useful tools to enhance their ability to create the future of sport.
  • Outreach & Engagement – We engage like-minded changemakers and innovators, including (but not limited to) academics, sport industry professionals, athletes, students, communities, activists & movements, and governments.
  • Public Events – We facilitate opportunities to come together with scholars and stakeholders across campus and around the world.
  • Content – We create content that adds to the conversation about the future of sport.
