The Community Mental Health Clinic at the UK College of Education

The CMHC is not accepting clients for assessment or therapy at this time. We will resume accepting new clients for assessment and therapy in August 2026. We currently operate following the academic year and are available August - May.

Community-focused services

Our community-focused mental health clinic offers telehealth/video sessions to adults in Kentucky. Counseling services are provided by advanced students in our Master’s and Doctoral programs and supervised by licensed psychologists at all times. 

Our services are all “sliding scale” fees, which means your cost will be based on your income, household size, and ability to pay. Our fees range from $10 to $75 per appointment.

Curently enrolled UK students should first access TRACS on campus to explore options available through the Office of Student Success and discuss possible referral to CMHC. Learn more about TRACS.

Our supervised therapists provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your concerns. We'll work together to develop coping strategies, build resilience, and help you achieve your goals.

In our first call, we will discuss your goals, therapy needs, and session times that may work for your schedule. We will also review our payment information and help determine what services and costs are available to you. If we are not a good fit for your therapy needs, we will provide you with other community referrals and services.

We have opened the Community Mental Health Clinic to provide psychological counseling services and assessment through telehealth for the people of Kentucky.

Credit Card Transactions

All transaction amounts are in US dollars (USD).

The processing of online transactions is done through Worldpay or Bluefin.

Shortly after a purchase or refund is processed, you will receive a confirmation via email. You are advised to print out and save a copy of the order confirmation for verification necessary to request refunds or resolve any disputes.

This site uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) servers on our transaction pages. It encrypts all of your personal information including name, address, and credit card number to prevent unauthorized access as the information travels over the Internet.

All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
