Stephen Farley
Teaching Assistant
Stephen is a PhD Candidate in Studies in Higher Education at The University of Kentucky. His research interests are broadly focused on International Education, with a particular emphasis on increasing access for underrepresented student populations. His current research investigates the effects of education abroad programs on the career readiness of first generation college students.
Before enrolling at the University of Kentucky, Stephen completed his Bachelor's degree at The Mahurin Honors College at Western Kentucky University and earned an MBA from The University of Tampa, where he worked as an Education Abroad Advisor for five years. He is a seasoned student coach and advocate, with a proven track record of supporting students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Stephen is a Church-going, dog-loving, Friends-watching, avid puzzler with a passion for travel.
