Dr. Michael R. Peabody is Senior Psychometrician at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy where he leads the team responsible for the operational psychometrics and research related to both high-stakes licensing examinations and low-stakes formative assessments. He is also an adjunct instructor for the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation where he teaches courses on measurement, statistics, and advanced psychometric methods. His previous research has focused on issues related to certification and licensure testing, such as differential item functioning, equating, standard setting, and practice analyses, while his current research investigates the use of machine learning models in educational measurement.
