Caroline Gooden is Adjunct faculty in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. She teaches Introduction to Early Childhood and Infant and Toddler Development. She has experience providing early intervention, teaching preschool, administration, consulting, and working with national technical centers for early childhood special education. She received her PhD from the University of Kentucky in Educational Psychology. She has co-authored a chapter on early childhood transitions for children with disabilities, and peer-reviewed articles on early childhood assessment and services. Her research interests include early childhood screening and assessment, social-emotional development of children and staff, and transition.
