The Counselor Education program at the University of Kentucky is making the following information available to the public as part of our efforts to be open and transparent regarding the functioning of this program:

The most recent annual report is available below. Our Rehabilitation Counseling specialization is nationally accredited through by Council on Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) through July 2022. Also in that document are statistics regarding enrollment and graduation. The program has an admission rate of approximately 80 percent. Students in the Rehabilitation Counseling specialization complete the program in 4 semesters, including summer, and most students in the Mental Health Counseling specialization complete the program in 5 semesters, including summer.

Graduates obtain employment in public and private rehabilitation and counseling agencies. Within six months of graduation, 100 percent of graduates are employed.
