Undergraduate Certificate: Explorations in STEM Education

The STEM Education certificate is designed for students from any major interested in exploring STEM Education or enhancing their career readiness with valuable skills. This program helps build confidence and communication skills for diverse audiences while deepening your understanding of STEM fields. You’ll design engaging learning activities that foster critical thinking and problem-solving. 

While the certificate benefits students from all majors, it is especially useful for those in STEM-related fields such as agriculture, public health, nursing, medicine, elementary education, and more.

Incoming Students: Minors and certificates can be declared once you are an enrolled student at the University.  

Current students: To add a minor or certificate, follow these instructions: 

• Log on to your myUKGPS
• Under “My Program of Study” on the right side of the page, click the link “Request a major/minor/certificate change”.  
• This will allow you to add, change, or remove any major or minor.
