The College of Education Ambassador program consists of a highly select group of UK College of Education students dedicated to the promotion and betterment of the College of Education and the University of Kentucky. Students are selected based on demonstrating outstanding achievement in academics, student leadership, and personality. Serving as an Ambassador is an honor and a distinction.


Qualifications

  • Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled in the College of Education
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to communicate effectively individually or in a group
  • You must positivity represent the University of Kentucky, the College of Education, our faculty, staff, and students

Responsibilities

  • Ambassadors work various University and College events.
  • Being willing to answer prospective student questions.
  • Host individual students and families on campus.
  • Allow prospective students to shadow your classes.
  • Interested in creating timely, student-driven and engaging content for the college’s social media outlet.
  • Find ways to improve the prospective and current student experience throughout the college.
  • Provide outreach services to community groups.
  • Attend monthly meetings throughout the year.
