Dr. Amanda Duncan is an Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and Applied Behavior Analysis, as well as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and Elementary Education from Morehead State University. She began her career teaching elementary students in general education classrooms, as well as K–12 students with extensive support needs and high-incidence disabilities in Arizona.

She later earned her Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and her Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education, with an emphasis on Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education and Family Studies, from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Duncan also has extensive experience training teachers and parents to implement behavior-analytic strategies and to assess and treat severe problem behaviors in both clinical and school settings.
