Dr. Beth S. Rous is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership Studies at the University of Kentucky, where she teaches courses focused on research and policy. Her research examines education policy, leadership, and systems change, focusing on continuity across community, health, social service, and education programs that serve children and families from birth through early elementary school. Dr. Rous has secured more than $100 million in external funding and has served as a national advisor to the U.S. Departments of Education and Health & Human Services on studies related to individuals with disabilities, early childhood quality, and cross-sector systems. As founding director of the Kentucky Partnership for Early Childhood Services, she led efforts to build comprehensive, cross-sector systems that link research, policy, and practice to support equitable outcomes for young children and families.
