Once students are admitted into the Teacher Education Program, students will:
- Maintain minimum GPA requirements
- Successfully complete all major course work with a “C” or better
- Consult with your academic advisor
- Complete 200 hours of Field Experiences
- Apply for Student Teaching through UK Ed Prep for the semester that you will be student teaching in
- If you plan to do student teaching overseas, you will need to apply for Student Teaching in UK Ed Prep AND Overseas Student Teaching through a separate application, which can be found on this link: https://luky.sharepoint.com/sites/OverseasStudentTeaching
- Submit any necessary applications/documentation as required by the school district that you are placed in.
