Sharon (Sherry) Rostosky, Ph.D. is Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky, where she has conducted research on the health and well-being of LGBTQ individuals, couples, and families since 1999. As part of her research program, she supervises a research team (www.PrismResearch.org) of masters and doctoral students. She is the coauthor of two books: Happy Together: Thriving as a Same-Sex Couple in your Family, Workplace, and Community (APA, 2015) and A Positive View of LGBTQ: Embracing Identity and Cultivating Well-being (Rowman Littlefield, 2012). She is currently serving the Department of Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology as Director of Graduate Studies.
