Kyle Phillips is from Lexington, Kentucky, and serves as an Academic Advisor II at the University of Kentucky. Kyle's research interests focus on student success metrics in higher education, particularly the unique needs of first-generation college students at post-secondary institutions. His dissertation research aims to advance faculty and staff knowledge of the supports available to first-generation college students. Kyle chose the University of Kentucky’s doctoral program for its student-centered approach and strong reputation as a supportive learning environment with a world-class faculty.
