Candace M. Hogue
Assistant Professor of Sport & Exercise Psychology
Dr. Candace Hogue is an Assistant Professor of Sport & Exercise Psychology at the University of Kentucky. Her primary lines of research are focused on understanding performance stress and motivation in sport and other physical activity-based performance contexts and how we can optimize the potential and well-being of all participants. She works as a coach educator and mental performance consultant and focuses her outreach efforts on the positive development of underserved youth in physical activity-based settings. She is a Fellow at the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, a CMPC Mentor, and the Associate Editor for the Journal of Sport Psychology in Action.
