Register to attend Future of Sport Summit April 15
The inaugural Future of Sport Summit, taking place April 15 at the University of Kentucky, will explore a range of topics impacting college sport, with sessions led by coaches, executives, industry leaders, faculty, and student athletes.
Registration is open to anyone with an interest in the sport industry, with the option to attend in-person or online. The registration fee ranges from $20 to $45, with reduced pricing for UK students. An agenda and details about each session are listed on the registration website.
The summit is hosted by the Future of Sport Institute in the UK College of Education Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion.
“From national championship winning coaches to sports tech strategists, we’ve curated a group of experts and visionaries excited to connect with attendees. They bring a range of knowledge, skills, and experiences that will help give context to the various forces impacting college sports,” said Kwame Agyemang, Ph.D., the George and Betty Blanda Endowed Professor in Sport Leadership in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion.

The summit will take place in the Harris Ballroom at the UK Gatton Student Center. Topics on the agenda include name, image, and likeness (NIL), the transfer portal, sponsorships and multimedia rights, mental health and wellness, women in leadership, sports tech, and sports media.
