Lisa Nichols, MATESL/MSLIS
Director, Education Library
Lisa is both a certified K12 teacher and academic librarian. She has more than 15 years of classroom experience teaching English/ELA, ESL, and information literacy to students from pre-K through college level.
She specializes in information literacy instruction and research support for all academic departments in the College of Education. Whether teaching a large group session or working one-on-one, her goal is always the same: to ensure that everyone - faculty, students, preservice teachers, and librarians - walks away feeling that their time together has been productive, informative, engaging, and useful.
In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading literary fiction, hanging out with her family, walking her dog, and eating desserts.
