Emma Jones is from Lexington, Kentucky, and is a Special Education Teacher at Baker Intermediate School in Clark County. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Learning/Behavior Disorders from Murray State University and a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands. Her research focuses on the collective teacher efficacy of elementary special education teachers and its relationship to distributed leadership practices. Emma chose the University of Kentucky for its supportive Educational Leadership faculty and the flexibility it offers, allowing her to continue teaching full-time while pursuing her Ph.D. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction and spending time with her one-year-old daughter, Elsie.
