Charity Powell

PhD Candidate

Charity Powell has served at Campbellsville University for the last 10 years, working in multiple roles within Student Affairs. She currently works in the Office of Community & Access as the Director of First Scholars and Student Advocate. Her dissertation research is focused on the use of the Greatest Commandment, to love God and love your neighbor, as the framework for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives within Christian Higher Education Institutions. Her research interests and career goals center around making higher education accessible and welcoming for the ever-growing and beautifully diverse students seeking knowledge and opportunity.
