Dr. Brittany Miller-Roenigk is an Assistant Professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Kentucky. She earned her MA and PhD in Psychology (Clinical) at the University of Cincinnati in 2020. She completed her APA-accredited Clinical and Community Psychology internship in 2020 at Yale University. After her graduate training, she completed three postdoctoral years and one research-faculty year at the University of Kentucky. Her clinical and research work focuses on prevention, harm reduction, and treatment of mental health disorders and substance misuse among Black and multiracial adults.

She is a Licensed Psychologist in Kentucky and her theoretical orientation is an integration of CBT and person-centered approaches. She teaches Practicum and Substance Abuse Treatment in Counseling Psychology.
