Bima Sapkota is an assistant professor of Mathematics Education at the University of Kentucky, USA. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Purdue University, Indiana, USA. Her research focuses on practice-based teacher education, teachers’ discipline-specific mathematical knowledge, teachers’ curricular decisions, and the use of AI for teaching and learning mathematics. She teaches mathematics content and methods courses for elementary, middle school, and secondary preservice teachers.
