Amanda Hale

Amanda Hale is from Danville, Kentucky, and serves as the Academic Coordinator for the Department of Health and Clinical Sciences in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration, both from UK. Amanda's research interests include first-year undergraduate student support strategies, undergraduate pre-healthcare student success, and the assessment of employability qualities. She chose UK's Ed.D. program because of the supportive environment and camaraderie between faculty and students. In her free time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter, going to concerts, watching cozy British reality competitions, and reading - especially speculative fiction.
