Thorpe quoted in Essence magazine

University of Kentucky College of Education assistant professor Shemeka Thorpe, Ph.D., is quoted in the November/December 2024 print edition of ESSENCE magazine in an article titled “The Business of Sex.” 

Thorpe is a faculty member in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. She received her Ph.D. in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is an award-winning sexuality educator and researcher.
