Required Trainings

If you have not previously completed the state-mandated co-teaching training, instructions have been sent to you. These modules must be completed in accordance with state regulations.

  • A statement verifying that you have reviewed all the material in the training module. The statement may be as simple as: I am writing to verify that I have reviewed all the material in this training module.
  • A brief narrative describing at least one idea gleaned from the training module to use when supervising student teachers.

EPSB Voucher to Cooperating Teachers

The Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) uses an online voucher system to process payments to Kentucky cooperating teachers.

To complete the voucher process:

  • Visit the EPSB website at www.epsb.ky.gov
  • Click the green KECS Login box in the upper-right corner. Sign in using your EPSB user ID (not an email address, even if one is pre-filled).
  • Once logged in, select Cooperating Teacher and then Assignments. You may only sign placements marked Ready for Signatures. Placements will remain in this status until both the Cooperating Teacher and the University Supervisor have signed.
  • After February 1 (Spring) or October 1 (Fall), review your electronic voucher(s) for accuracy, including names, school, and placement dates.
  • If accurate, submit the voucher.
  • If any information is incorrect, contact Bill Forker before submitting so corrections can be made. Please do not reject the voucher, as this will delay payment.
  • You will be notified when your voucher is ready for signature. New action items will appear on your EPSB dashboard upon login.
  • For login or technical issues, contact brandon.harrod@education.ky.gov at EPSB.
