Dr. Best worked for almost 10 years as a fitness trainer and strength and conditioning coach before completing his Ph.D. at the University of Sydney in 2010. His primary research interests include the effects of reduced sleep on physical function and performance, as well as how to optimize the adaptations to exercise training. In addition to his research experience, Dr. Best has worked with a number of professional and amateur sporting teams as a sports scientist and performance analyst.
