Dr. Leslie David Burns is an associate professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Kentucky College of Education. He is a winner of the Edward Fry Book Award for advancement of knowledge and research in literacy education. Dr. Burns also edits two interdisciplinary book series for Peter Lang International, including “Social Justice Across Contexts in Education” and “Culture, Curriculum, and Education.”
