Learn from National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) associate director of communications Gail Dent at the University of Kentucky College of Education’s Alumni Speaker Series, taking place 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 in the Taylor Education Building auditorium (158 TEB).

Dent will deliver an in-person talk focusing on her more than two-decade career as a communications professional for the NCAA and her time at UK, where she earned a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Health Promotion with a specialty in sport leadership.

“We know that experience can be a great teacher and this series provides opportunities to see how skills learned during college can be applied in a career, such as Gail Dent’s successful tenure with the NCAA. Anyone with an interest in the featured topic is welcome to attend this series,” said UK College of Education Senior Associate Dean Dr. Margaret Mohr-Schroeder.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with Dent. Space is limited at this free talk, so please RSVP to reserve your spot. For more information, contact Mariama Lockington, program coordinator, at COElearningseries@nulluky.edu.
