Rehabilitation Counseling Doctoral Student Receives Grant

Lisa Dunkley, a doctoral student in the Rehabilitation Counseling Education, Research, and Policy Program in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling, has received a competitive grant from the national counseling honor society Chi Sigma Iota.

The grant will be used to effectively prepare current University of Kentucky members of Chi Sigma Iota who are enrolled in the Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling Program to prepare for licensure as professional counselors through professional forums.

Dunkley serves as president, and Kristin Maxwell, clinical faculty with the Rehabilitation Counseling Program, serves as the faculty advisor for the University of Kentucky’s chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.
