Kathryn “Rosie” Lanphere received her Ph.D. in Physical Education, Sports, and Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico in 2013. Dr. Lanphere has directed several education abroad programs for the University of Kentucky since arriving in the Fall of 2013. Her areas of research interests include autophagy, aging, pediatric body composition, environmental and endurance exercise. Dr. Lanphere teaches several undergraduate courses which include strength and conditioning for sports, introduction to exercise testing and prescription, anatomy and physiology for health and physical education, and the physiology of exercise.
