Faculty from the UK College of Education’s Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion worked with 120 physical education teachers from across the state at Tates Creek High School on June 19.

Pictured are some of the UK College of Education alumni who attended. The event, called the PAWS Institute, is part of the Physical Activity and Wellness Schools Program (PAWS), which allows physical education teachers to fortify their skills.

PAWS was created thanks to a gift from UK alumni Steve and Elaine Harris and funds from the George and Betty Blanda Endowed Professorship.
