A new collaboration between the UK College of Education and an advisory board of education professionals in Kentucky, the School Financial Management Institute prepares participants to take the Certified School Financial Manager exam.

The School Financial Management Institute has been redesigned and is now under the direction of the UK College of Education in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE).  Under the new model, new and aspiring school finance officers will participate in a year-long professional learning experience held at the KDE building. A program orientation will begin the activities on the first day of the program. The success of this program depends on your professionalism and ability to participate in ALL the activities, classes and discussions. We underscore the importance of full attendance.

Please Note: EILA credit will be available. Request for special needs will be accommodated, if requested in advance. The program is also supported by KASBO.
