The UK Graduate School, through the Nietzel Visiting Distinguished Faculty Award program, and UK College of Education Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling hosted a colloquia in April in Dickey Hall.

Dr. Yash Bhagwanji, associate professor of Curriculum, Culture, and Educational Inquiry at Florida Atlantic University, delivered a talk, “Early Childhood Education in the Anthropocene Age: Business as Usual?”

The presentation was made possible by the Nietzel Visiting Distinguished Faculty Award presented to Meg Gravil, a doctoral candidate in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. The award enriches the dissertation experience for selected doctoral students whose dissertations are judged to be especially meritorious.
