The program begins this fall with its first cohort of students working toward certificates in school technology leadership, instructional coaching, and leadership for deeper learning. Each certificate requires three online courses (9 hours). Students can pursue any of the certificates alone, or apply them toward the requirements for the teacher leadership degree.
“We’re excited to help teachers step out of their classroom comfort zones” said Dr. John Nash, department chair in the UK College of Education Department of Educational Leadership Studies. “We offer diverse learning experiences to help educators instill deeper leaning and critical thinking skills in their teaching practices.”
