KHP 156   EDUCATIONAL GYMNASTICS   (1 hour)
 
The primary goal of the course is to equip the student with the skills necessary to effectively teach gymnastics and tumbling skills in the schools. Students will learn safety procedures, skill sequencing, and progressions that are recommended for students in pre-school through middle school. Students will learn to analyze skills and prepare appropriate lesson plans. Laboratory, six hours per week for one-half semester or three laboratory hours per week per semester.
 
Prerequisite(s):   Demonstrated competence and PHED, KINE majors only
