Rosemary Nave Stawasz, Ph.D.

Rosemary is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education, and Rehabilitation Counseling. She graduated with a master’s degree in Orientation and Mobility and bachelor’s in special education-visual impairment from Western Michigan University. She is currently working on a doctoral program in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at Western Michigan University.

Rosemary has fourteen years of experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist serving in Arizona, North Carolina, and Michigan. In addition, she was an adjunct instructor in the Blindness and Low Vision Studies Department at Western Michigan University for seven years. She will assist with developing a new graduate program at the University of Kentucky in Orientation and Mobility.
