Dr. Kelly D. Bradley came to UK directly from doctoral study in quantitative research, evaluation, and measurement at The Ohio State University. Her research is anchored in quantitative evaluation and measurement, with a focus on Survey Research and measurement, specializing in the Rasch model. Underlying her methodological interests is a passion for the teaching profession and issues around quality in the classroom. She has over 75 regional and national presentations and has published over 25 peer reviewed manuscripts.
Dr. Bradley just finished a 2-year term as the American Educational Research (AERA) Survey Research SIG program chair and was elected to take over as President of the SIG, and currently holds that position. She is also actively engaged in the Midwest Educational Research Association (MWERA), American Statistical Association (ASA), and National Council of Measurement in Education (NCME) and is a reviewer for various journals with a focus on measurement and statistics. Dr. Bradley teaches quantitative methods, measurement, and statistics courses. She holds an M.S. in statistics from the University of South Carolina, a B.S. in mathematics and sociology and a B.A. in mathematics education from Fairmont State College. She retains her teacher certification in mathematics for grades 5 – 12.
