Bonita Tyler, a doctoral candidate in the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation, was named the 2018 Robert H. McCabe Scholar by the National Alliance of Community and Technical Colleges. The organization invited her to speak about her ongoing research in developmental education at their national conference in July. Her presentation focused on the extant literature addressing corequisite academic support for underprepared community college math students and implications for faculty work.
