Ferrare receives research grant from UK

Joe Ferrare, Assistant Professor in EPE and Sociology, was recently awarded a research support grant through UK’s Office of the Vice President for Research. The grant will support Ferrare’s research into how first generation college students create social capital to facilitate college degree completion. The project is part of a larger collaboration with researchers interested in social networks, organizational behavior, and social mobility.
