Rehabilitation Counseling & Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling in Mental Health
The Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Program at the UK College of Education is committed to providing the highest quality rehabilitation counselor education and clinical rehabilitation counseling in mental health programs. We are a growing profession, and the need for trained rehabilitation professionals has never been greater.
The Rehabilitation Counseling Program is located on the beautiful campus of the University of Kentucky within the College of Education in the Department of Early Childhood, Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling. We have consistently been rated in the top 10 of rehabilitation counseling programs nationwide.
The Rehabilitation Counseling program is fully accredited by the Council for Accreditation for Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Accreditation ensures that we meet the highest standards of training and professionalism. This also enables students and graduates to be eligible to sit for the national rehabilitation counseling certification examination.
We also offer a Formal Option of the Departmental Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling Education, Research, and Policy.
Our students benefit from our exceptional and nationally recognized faculty, who bring diverse professional backgrounds, research interests, and areas of expertise to the educational experience. We encourage our students to participate fully in the wide range of professional, educational, and research opportunities that we offer. Students also benefit from our strong ties to the local, state, and national rehabilitation community, and from our relationship with the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute, Medical Center, and many other University of Kentucky schools, colleges, departments, and programs.
Tuition and Fees
Questions about tuition should be directed to the Registrar’s Office. More information about tuition and cost to attend can be found on the Registrar’s website.
