Rena Goodwin, masters student in Counseling Psychology, has been selected as the recipient of the 2018 Society for Sport, Exercise & Performance Psychology (Division 47) Thesis Award. Her thesis, “Self-Stigma, Attitudes, and Preferences When Seeking Mental Health and Sport Psychology Services: A Student-Athlete Point of View,” was co-chaired by Drs. Marc Cormier and Heather Irwin in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Rena will receive her award and give a talk on her study at the annual American Psychological Association conference in San Francisco this August. Congratulations, Rena!
