SASP Awarded Multicultural Inclusion Grant

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

Congratulations to the School Psychology program’s student association, Student Affiliates in School Psychology (SASP), who applied for and received a a university wide grant – the Multicultural Inclusion Grant. This grant is funded by UK’s student government;  the grant monies will support SASP’s campus wide events “The R Word Is Not Our Word” from March 27th to March 31st.

Shelby Kerwin is the SASP president, and the student who spearheaded the efforts for the grant, which involved a presentation to the student government leadership. Shelby and others are working tirelessly to make this a great event. The faculty are so proud of their efforts to advocate beyond the walls of the College of Education to reach those who need it the most. We appreciate all the students that will help out that week to make it a success.

Congrats again on the great work!
