Coronavirus Response: Instructions for Pre-Teacher Education Program Students

On Tuesday, March 17, the University of Kentucky notified students that UK will move to online or alternative formats for classroom instruction for the rest of the semester in response to the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The information below was emailed to UK College of Education students who are not yet admitted to the college’s Teacher Education Program (PRE-TEP). It details how students at this stage of their studies will continue receiving instruction during this time. This information was current as of Tuesday, March 17. This page will be updated as needed.

PRE-TEP ADMISSION STUDENTS

Students in SEM 110, EDP 202, EDP 203, EDP 303, EPE 301, EDS 375

Students in a campus face-to-face course that requires a field experience that is prior to program admittance

  • Course will be online through the end of the semester and no field experience hours will be required.
  • Instructors will make course adjustments as needed.

 The cancellation of your field experience will not affect your course grade nor your ability to apply for a teacher education program.
