UK College of Education’s Golden Wildcats at induction ceremony at Kroger Field

The University of Kentucky has a special designation for its alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more. They are members of the Golden Wildcat Society. This morning, UK College of Education Alumni Director Mary Ann Vimont helped honor Golden Wildcats from the UK College of Education during a breakfast ceremony at Kroger Field.

Members of the Class of 1967 received their pins and were inducted into the Golden Wildcat Society. With each passing year, all members of the Golden Wildcat Society are invited back to induct the new class and welcome them into the society.

The event was held as part of UK’s 2017 Homecoming festivities. All College of Education alumni, plus faculty, staff and students are invited to the UK College of Education Homecoming Brunch Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017. There will be fantastic food, music, games, and of course, friends and family. The event is free.
