News: Trudy Webb Banta, BA ’63 and MA’65 received two national awards in 2016: the inaugural Lifetime Achievement in Assessment Award of the national Assessment Institute and the inaugural Sustained Excellence in Assessment designation for IUPUI of the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities (APLU), the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U), and the National Institute on Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA). On the occasion of her retirement from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, she received the Chancellor’s Medallion, the first such recognition given by a chancellor in a decade.
