Students had an opportunity to present research in a safe and collaborative environment at the 2019 Spring Research Conference this past weekend. The event was a joint effort by the University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, and University of Cincinnati. The conference rotates locations among the three institutions annually.
“Spring Research Conference is a friendly environment that allows students to present research at any stage,” said Katherine A. Sharp, a student in the UK College of Education’s STEM Education doctoral program who helped planned the event. “The conference provides an opportunity where students can share developing ideas or receive feedback on research that is in progress while participating within a low-pressure environment.”
This year’s conference was hosted by the UK College of Education at the UK Bill Gatton Student Center. Students often use this opportunity to prepare for larger conferences.
