Course Description

This 3-day workshop will focus on practices to support students impacted by trauma. It will also provide tips for self-care for teachers and students. Participants will be able to:

  • Recognize and become aware of the prevalence of trauma in the classroom
  • Put practices in place to support students with trauma and not re-traumatize them
  • Plan for and be mindful of self-care for teachers and students

Completion of this workshop will result in a UK “Stress & Trauma in Teaching” badge.
