KHP 154   DANCE FOUNDATIONS II   (1 hour)
 
Designed to familiarize the professional physical education student with the techniques, skills, theory and composition of dance. Development of at least an intermediate skill level is expected of the students. The primary goal of the course is to equip the student with the skills necessary to effectively teach dance and transfer its attributes to sports areas. Laboratory, six hours per week for one-half semester or three laboratory hours per week per semester.
 
Prerequisite(s):   PHED, KINE, and ELED majors only
