KHP 147   DANCE FOUNDATIONS I   (1 hour)
 
Designed to familiarize the professional physical education student with the skills, practices, techniques, and theory of social, folk and square dancing. Development of at least an intermediate skill level is expected of the students. The primary goal of the course is to equip the student with the skills necessary to effectively teach social, folk, and square dance. Laboratory, six hours per week for one-half semester or three laboratory hours per week per semester.
 
Prerequisite(s):   PHED, KINE, and ELED majors only
