Please note that the application process for graduate studies has changed. Applications for graduate study at the University of Kentucky Graduate School must be submitted on-line. The University of Kentucky is now part of the Hobsons ApplyYourself Application Network, a system used by over 700 colleges and universities that provides an opportunity to submit all Graduate School and program requirements in one application.
Please go to: http://www.research.uky.edu/gs/ProspectiveStudents/Admission.html for instructions on how to apply for graduate studies at the University of Kentucky. All applications to the University of Kentucky Graduate School must be submitted on-line. This online application process now includes materials used by the KHP Department to make an admission decision so that you no longer are required to submit a separate application to The Graduate School and a separate application to the KHP Department.
The Graduate School has begun strictly adhering to application deadlines and does not make exceptions. Therefore if you want your application to be considered for a specific semester, The Graduate School must have received all required application materials by the official deadline. (Click here for application deadlines - scroll to the bottom of the page).
Note: For the specialization in Health Promotion or Health Education, deadlines for consideration to be admitted into the program are February 15 for Fall semester and August 15 for Spring semester.
Most graduate teaching assistantships are awarded for the year (August through early May), beginning with the fall semester. If you want to be considered for a teaching assistantship, your application to The Graduate School that includes KHP Application materials should be completed and submitted by February 15th. Review of applicants will begin on that date and continue until all assistantships have been filled. We will continue to accept applications for teaching assistantships after February 15th, but cannot guarantee that your application will be reviewed.
