Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD)

Kathy Sheppard-Jones is the 2009 Recipient of AUCD’s Young Professional Award, which will be given at AUCD’s Conference in DC at the Association’s Award Ceremony, in November, 2009.

"This award is presented to professionals in the disabilities field under the age of 40 years who have demonstrated dedication and commitment to people with developmental disabilities and their families through their work as a bridge between the academic sector and the community"

Kathy is the Pre-Service Training Director for the UK's Human Development Institute.
