Public Performance Information
The Rehabilitation Counseling program at the University of Kentucky is making the following information available to the public as part of our efforts to be open and transparent regarding the functioning of this program:
The program is accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education. The most recent review report is available below. Our accreditation goes through the 2021 academic year. Also in that document are statistics regarding enrollment and graduation. The program has an admission rate of approximately 80%, and 90% of students both on campus and in the distance learning program graduate in 16 months.
Graduates obtain employment in public and private rehabilitation agencies. Within six months of graduation about 85% of graduates from the campus program are employed with the remainder securing employment within a year. For the distance learning program the employment rate is 100% as these students are employed upon admission in public rehabilitation programs.
